Now that Mom has a new job, I get to go to work with her sometimes. Yup! And only ME. Bogdan has a bad reputation, so he doesn't get to go. He might get fired for scratching someone. And Sara would probably hide in cabinets and mess up the files. And Jeff has stinky poo. But me? ME? I'm purrfect for the job!!

"Mom even gave me my own office space."

"Look how fast I work! I'm blurry I work so fast ... putting all the pens away ... on the floor! I'm a good office assistant."

"I got two 15-minute breaks, so it was good I brought some toys with me. I think this is a good paying job because I was getting Temptations - even on break time!"

"Later in the day I had a meeting with one of my Mom's co-workers. I had to talk to her about her closed-blinds policy."

"It took some doing, but I persuaded her to open the blinds. See? Now it's time for a nap after all that work."

I had hoped that when Mom said she'd have more time soon, that meant for ME. Phooey.

A meme, very belated

*Crunch* *Crunch* Just testing. (On the Cat House Hotel porch.)

My very good friend eve tagged me for this after my brother Bogdan tagged her. Mom just now told me. All this time, I've been down here at the Cat House Hotel wondering when I'd be tagged after both Bogdan and Sara got to do their lists! And here I was ... tagged all along.

Hey there, whirley birdie! I'm gonna chomp you!

The rules: Each player starts with seven random facts about herself. Cats who are tagged need to write on their own diary about the seven things and the rules. You need to choose seven cats to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment/pawmail that they have been tagged and to read your diary/blog.

Here are seven sorta little-known facts about me, Kat 3. (P.S. Click here for some more things about me that I shared in March.)

1. I like to give the bitey. Often.

2. I am a private kitty when I do my private things. If Mom or Bogdan or anyone come into the litterbox room, I get nervous. Sometimes I'm already doing you-know-what, and I try to hurry up ... then I run away really fast without covering! I hate, hate, hate when I get walked in on!!

3. I greet everyone. Even dogs. I like saying hello to our stray and neighbor cats through the screens. I don't want them to go away.

4. I eat anything and everything. Maybe this fact isn't little-known, but it's a very important fact. I attempt to eat everything - even if it's a fuzzy on the floor. I will try to eat it.

5. I'm being leashed trained so that I can go places, such as local pet stores and Grandma's house. Maybe I'll even get to go to Mom's work! She wants to start Bring Your Cat to Work Day.

6. I clean up my toys when I am ready to sleep. I pick them up and put them in my bed or near my snuggle sack. I like them near me.

7. I will find playtime anywhere. Everything is a toy!!! As jeter harris would say, "Life iz grate!" and I'll add: "And made for lots of playing."

I'm giving the whirley birdie the evil eye.

THE CAT HOUSE HOTEL IS SUPER FUN

I'm at the Kat House Hotel. It's named for me! No, really. Really! OK, not really ....

The Cat House Hotel is a wonderful place! There are toys galore, scratches all day long and plenty of kitties to play with. (P.S. Mom says to tell you we won't be home now until at least June 2.)

Here are some highlights from my stay so far.

*PLAYTIME*

I'll get you blanket! I'll win! And I did win. Yup. Teehee.

*FRIEND TIME*

Friend time is a lot like playtime. Look at our toys! That's my kitten friend Frankie. She had to go home already. Mom says I look chunky here. And it's a possibility. I've been taste-testing all the kitties' foods!!! Nummy.

*MORE PLAYTIME*

You can never have enough playtime.

*DRINK TIME*
All this playtime makes me thirsty. The nice girls who work at the hotel fill up kettles to fill up water bowls in our rooms. I like drinking from the kettles. That's my toy right there.

*DAD TIME*
Dad thinks he is funny. Here, he is pretending to put me in the water fountain. I'm screaming, "No! No!" but I know Dad would never really put me in it. I play along with his silly games.

*NAP TIME*
Just kidding! I didn't nap! There's too much playtime to be had, right Frankie? Teehee.

Me-me-Meezer Monday

It's Meezer Monday, so it's all about me, Kat 3, who has Siamese ancestors.

This is one of my favorite spots: a kitchen table chair. I wait here for the food.

Here are some things about me:
• I really like food.
• I talk a lot.
• I mean, I really talk a lot.
• I have a "hook" at the end of my tail.
• I keep my young-looking complexion by staying positive and having tons of fun!

Excuse me. I'm being interrupted. Uhm, Bogdan, get outta here.

It's my turn to report!

OK. Back to me.
• I had respiratory issues as a youngster, and so my little nose is damaged. It makes it so that I snore when I sleep. It also makes lots of noise when I'm sniffing really hard to find smells.
• I like to party!
• Sparkly crunchy balls are my favorite toys.
• I sneeze a lot and get my boogers on the walls and furniture.
• I think belts are really scary. I hiss at them.
• I looooove food.
