Our older sister Fiona died Tuesday in Daddy's arms.
She was a daddy's girl. Here she is about an hour before she left us.We will soon scan and share with you older photos of her and our other big ferret sister, Peanut. Peanut died Sept. 1, 2003.

Awwww sorry to heer the sad noos. Fiona wuz vury kyoot. They don't allow ferrets in Hah-why-eee. Momma saw sum in a pet shop wunce when she wuz on baykayshun in Lost Wages and they were all passed owt sleeping in a big pile and she wished she cood take wun home wiff her.
I am very sorry for the loss of Fiona. She looks like a very sweet and beautiful ferret. It is very good that she got to spend her last minutes curled up with her Daddy. My sincerest condolences to you.

huge hugs from all us here - i just lost my best ever and beloved dog oliver and he died in my arms as well - the best place to be - i'm sure fiona knew she was safe when she passed. i'm glad you were able to keep her too - being from arizona when my sister moved out here (to california) they confiscated her ferret at the border. she didn't know ferrets were illegal here and she was so torn up.
may you be comforted in your loss by all the wonderful memories - God gave us animals as such a blessing - and i'm sure you had many with fiona.

ah, she is so cute. we are furry sorry she is gone but now she can run free at the bridge. she looks furry huggable
I'm so sorry for your loss. Fiona looks like such a sweetheart. Ferrets are so wonderful, they should be allowed in any home that will care for them.

We are so sorry for your loss. She was so beautiful! What a sweet little face. When I (Basil) passed, mama was holding my hand. I can tell you honestly what a comfort it was and that it was wonderful of your Daddy to be with her like that when it was her time. Your family is in our thoughts and purr-prayers.

I'm so sorry. Its sad to lose someone so special and loving! Purrs and thoughts with you. I'm not sure why its illegal to own ferrets in California. CDFG may be trying to protect native species should the ferrets get out wild.
They do sell ferrets at the PetCo near our Mountain house in Minden, Nevada. So it must be OK in Nevada.
